Description 

This is a Notice of Intent to issue DE-FOA-0002438 titled Design, R&D, Validation, and Fabrication of a Prototype Carbon-Based Building. The objective of the FOA is to support the design, R&D, and validation of a prototype carbon-based building. A prototype building that meets the project’s objectives will have component building materials that must be at least 70% carbon (by weight), and at least 51% of the carbon (by weight) must be coal-derived. The prototype building will demonstrate the technical and economic viability of carbon-based building materials.
